🐛 Critical Bug Fix - Debt Calculator Accuracy

First and foremost, we need to apologize for a critical bug that has been in the debt calculator for far too long. This bug was causing minimum payments to be double-counted when debts were paid off, leading to inaccurate calculations in your debt payoff plans.

Huge shoutouts to our amazing community members who helped identify and track this issue:

• fallingstar12 and ongalvez and e.r.lybbert who initially brought this to our attention
• iamunmonitored who recently chimed in and brought the concern back up with additional details

We thought we had fixed this issue previously, but thanks to your persistence and detailed feedback, we were able to track down the root cause and eliminate it completely. This bug is now officially squashed! 🎉

All debt calculations should now be 99.99% accurate, ensuring your financial plans are reliable and trustworthy. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or incorrect planning this may have caused.

Good news - nothing! This fix has been automatically applied to all existing plans. Your calculations should now be more accurate than ever.

If you notice any discrepancies in your existing plans or want to double-check your numbers, simply refresh your calculator page and your plan will be recalculated with the corrected logic.

Today's update tackles a big one—autosave reliability—plus a workflow improvement that should make plan creation smoother.

Fix | What changed

Autosave reliability Back in May, we got reports of autosave not working properly—and in some cases, completely wiping plans! We disabled it by default while we dug deeper. Good news: we believe we've got it sorted and autosave should now work as expected.

Plan creation workflow When you create a new plan, we now auto-select it and start auto-updating right away. Before, you had to remember to create your plan and then manually select it. One less step to worry about.

Welcome to our new update feed! We’ll drop a quick note like this whenever we ship something useful. First up is a bundle of fixes we’ve rolled out over the last couple of months—powered by your bug reports and screenshots (huge thanks!).

Fix	What changed
Debt delete mix-up	Deleting one debt sometimes zapped another. Sorted.
Chrome on Android	After the May 29 push, mobile Chrome users couldn’t edit debts. All good now.
Accelerator waitlist	A signup hiccup blocked some folks. Doors are open again.
Autosave plan wipe	Rare bug where autosave cleared a plan. We think it’s gone—let us know if you still see it.
Bug-report form	You can now drop multiple images in one report. Easier for everyone.
Email verification	Broken links are fixed—new sign-ups should verify no problem.
“Power” double-count	Monthly payoff breakdown showed double freed power. Display is fixed (the math was always right).

• 🔐 Better Login Experience – You won't get logged out after every page refresh anymore!
